National Prayer Breakfast for Scotland

2021 Breakfast Announced

Due to the ongoing situation with the pandemic and the restrictions imposed related to the coronavirus, the Trustees of the National Prayer Breakfast for Scotland (NPBS) have taken the decision to host an online event on Wednesday, 2 June 2021.

And this year, the virtual online event will launch a National Day of Prayer, bringing people from across the denominations and prayer networks throughout the length and breadth of Scotland together.

Get breakfast delivered!

By purchasing a ticket, you and any guest(s) you have invited will receive a delivery of a freshly prepared breakfast tray the evening before the event, which simply requires a short reheating time on the morning of the event. This will include a fully cooked breakfast, pastries, and a hot and cold drink.

Who can you invite and purchase a breakfast for?

At previous events organisations and individuals have bought a table at the Prayer Breakfast – why not consider purchasing a ‘table’ of breakfasts for delivery to guests you have invited to share in the event. You could then arrange a Zoom call or if restrictions allow in your area, a few people to meet up and eat breakfast together whilst participating in the event.

Individual breakfasts can also be ordered. Breakfasts can be ordered for delivery to anywhere on the Scottish mainland.

The deadline for ordering is Monday 24 May 2021.

The National Prayer Breakfast for Scotland will be available to watch free of charge for anyone, even if no breakfast is purchased, but we would encourage as many people as possible to be a part of the event and join for breakfast as we come together online for one of the key opportunities to pray into the heart of this nation and being held just a few weeks after the Scottish Parliamentary elections.

COVID-19: How is NPBS affected?

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, and restrictions imposed by the Scottish Government, we have had to adjust the breakfast in 2021 to be online. The safety of our guests will remain our top priority,; and we will keep our partners updated with new information as it becomes available.

Q: I’ve already bought tickets, what happens to them?

A: Since it has not been possible to hold the event in the way it was planned when you booked, we are offering to arrange for a full refund. We would be grateful if you could contact us by email at admin@npbscotland.org.uk to confirm you would like us to go ahead and refund to the details you used when booking, by 14 April 2021 if possible. We are unable to hold this for another year as costs will be different.

Should you wish to make a donation to the National Prayer Breakfast or transfer your booking to a donation please also email as above to confirm this and we can arrange this for you.

Q: Are you accepting bookings for the 2021 Breafkast?

A: Yes; click here to express interest in the 2021 event.
